Workshop Manager (Fabrication & Machining)

We are looking for an experienced Workshop Manager<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> to oversee and manage a local production facility in Nigeria. The workshop is equipped with machine tools specialized in the fabrication of piping, storage tanks, structural steelwork, and related metallic equipment.<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->
Key Responsibilities & Team:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

• Manage and coordinate a local Nigerian team of approximately 10 workers (welders, fitters, machinists), with headcount fluctuating according to production volumes and project requirements.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->
• Ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations are strictly met.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

Technical Requirements & Qualifications:

• Mechanical Background:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> The ideal candidate must come from a strong mechanical engineering or mechanical technical background.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->

• ASME Code Expertise:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Deep experience in manufacturing pressure vessels according to ASME standards is mandatory. A background limited strictly to piping prefabrication and structural steelwork is not sufficient.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->
• Boilermaking Processes:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> Thorough knowledge of industrial boilermaking (caldareria<!--TgQPHd|||[]-->) and heavy fabrication production processes.<!--TgQPHd|||[]--><!--TgQPHd|||[]-->
• ASME Certification Support:<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> The ideal candidate must be fully capable of supporting and guiding the client through the process of obtaining the ASME Stamp<!--TgQPHd|||[]--> for the workshop.
