For a major international project in the Chemical sector, we are looking for a Machinery Superintendent to oversee rotating equipment activities during mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up phases in Israel.

For a major international project in the Chemical sector, we are looking for a Machinery Superintendent to oversee rotating equipment activities during mechanical completion, commissioning and start-up phases in Israel.
Main responsibilities:
- Supervise commissioning and start-up activities for compressors, turbines, pumps and mechanical packages;
- Verify equipment installation, alignment, lubrication, flushing and testing activities;
- Coordinate vendors, subcontractors and multidisciplinary site teams;
- Monitor machinery performance and support troubleshooting activities;
- Ensure compliance with project procedures, quality standards and HSE requirements.
- Degree or technical diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
- Significant experience in rotating equipment commissioning and start-up activities;
- Strong knowledge of compressors, turbines, pumps and machinery auxiliary systems;
- Previous experience in chemical, petrochemical or Oil & Gas projects;
- Fluent English and availability for a site-based assignment in Israel.
- Initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension;
