For an important international project in the Steel Plant sector, we are looking for an HSE Supervisor to support site HSE activities and ensure compliance with local legal and company HSE requirements HSE requirements in HSE requirements in Darıca, Kocaeli, Türkiye.

The position is open to expatriate candidates only.

Main responsibilities:

• Review and keep updated all site-specific HSE documentation in cooperation with the HSE Team and Site Management;
• Integrate, when necessary, company HSE procedures with applicable local regulations and site safety requirements;
• Manage site emergency planning, PPE availability, safety inductions, training activities and emergency drills;
• Verify that personnel, subcontractors, vehicles and equipment are compliant with site HSE requirements before accessing or operating on site;
• Perform site HSE inspections, report unsafe conditions or behaviours, support incident investigations and corrective actions, and stop unsafe activities when required;
• Support the implementation of Permit to Work and Lockout/Tagout systems on site.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Technical Diploma or similar technical/scientific background;
• Availability to work on a 90/15 rotation, 10X6 working schedule, starting from September;
• Minimum 3 years of experience in HSE roles within complex industrial construction sites, preferably in metalwork, metallurgical/steelworks, Oil & Gas or mining sectors;
• Good knowledge of HSE procedures, site safety requirements and risk prevention measures;
• HSE training/certification relevant to the role, such as NEBOSH, IOSH, RSPP, ASPP, HSE Manager, CSP/CSE or equivalent;
• English level B2 or above is mandatory; Turkish language knowledge will be considered a plus.
