Senior Maintenance Engineer

 For an important project in the Oil & Gas sector, we are looking for a Senior Maintenance Engineer to support maintenance activities, equipment availability monitoring and continuous improvement of maintenance management systems across O&M projects.

Among your responsibilities:

• Monitor the availability of main equipment and identify, prevent and solve potential shortfalls;
• Follow, advise and support project teams in case of breakdowns, ordinary and extraordinary maintenance, and inspection activities, in order to guarantee site availability;
• Liaise with vendors for planned and unplanned assistance and services, as necessary;
• Propose improvements to maintenance and spare parts management systems, as well as project procedures;
• Prepare maintenance KPI performance dashboards for various O&M projects;
• Develop new KPI dashboards and reporting tools;
• Support the implementation of maintenance plan modifications within the Maintenance Management System;
• Review spare parts strategy and actual requirements, preparing updates for maintenance management;
• Estimate work activities and propose optimisations and improvements to maintain schedule compliance;
• Act as maintenance activity planner on the project;
• Analyse and review Management of Change requests in coordination with the HSE Department;
• Provide support and assistance to various projects on maintenance and spare parts management topics;
• Participate in and perform Maintenance Re-Engineering activities, including CMMS database improvement and large equipment additions;
• Perform return of experience and reliability analysis, supporting maintenance efficiency improvements across projects;
• Participate in the evaluation of innovations and new tools.

Requirements:

• Degree or technical diploma in Engineering or related technical disciplines;
• Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry;
• Good knowledge of maintenance management processes and spare parts management;
• Proficiency in MS Office tools;
• Knowledge of SAP PM;
• Fluent English, both written and spoken;
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach;
• Ability to work in a structured, international technical environment;
• Availability for onshore and offshore missions.
