POSITION SUMMARY:

The Superintendent Maintenance Site will be responsible for leading all maintenance activities on offshore platforms, ensuring the continuous and safe operation of facilities and systems. Acting as the company’s eyes and ears on site, this person will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, and guarantee compliance with company standards and client requirements.

This role requires a strong leadership attitude, solid technical background, and operational mindset. Candidates must be capable of commanding a team and maintaining direct communication with both onshore management and offshore personnel.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and coordinate all maintenance activities on the offshore platform (mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, structural, and general systems).

  • Ensure compliance with safety and operational procedures.

  • Plan, organize, and execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.

  • Manage and control spare parts, tools, and materials.

  • Liaise with the onshore engineering and management teams for maintenance planning and reporting.

  • Identify technical issues and propose effective corrective actions.

  • Act as the company’s representative on site, ensuring company standards, ethics, and HSE culture are maintained.

  • Prepare daily and weekly activity reports.


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (mandatory).

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance of industrial plants, with at least 5 years in offshore environments.

  • Proven leadership experience supervising multidisciplinary teams.

  • Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and technical documentation.

  • Good understanding of offshore safety regulations and HSE best practices.

  • Languages: French (mandatory – at least intermediate level); English is a plus.

  • BOSIET / HUET certification is an advantage.

  • European or Francophone nationality preferred (Italian or French-speaking candidates strongly prioritized).
