We are looking for a QA/QC Manager to support Danieli’s steel plant project in Monfalcone (GO).
The candidate will lead and coordinate all Quality Assurance and Quality Control activities for civil, mechanical, and electrical disciplines, ensuring that the project complies with contractual specifications, client requirements, and applicable standards.
The QA/QC Manager will act as the main interface between Danieli, ClarineT, subcontractors, and the client’s representatives regarding all quality-related matters, managing inspections, documentation, and audits from engineering through construction and commissioning phases.
Define, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Plan in accordance with Danieli and client procedures.
Supervise QA/QC engineers and inspectors across all disciplines (Civil, Mechanical, E&I).
Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures.
Oversee inspections and testing activities during fabrication and installation.
Verify that all materials and works comply with specifications, drawings, and standards.
Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure correct execution and traceability of quality records.
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and ensure implementation of corrective actions.
Prepare and submit quality reports, KPIs, and audit results to project management.
Serve as focal point for client quality representatives and third-party inspectors.
Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical) or equivalent technical background.
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in QA/QC management within industrial or steel plant projects.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and relevant international standards (EN, ASME, IEC).
Proven experience coordinating multidisciplinary QA/QC teams.
Excellent communication and reporting skills.
Good working knowledge of English or Italian.
EU citizenship preferred.
