Job Description:

We are looking for a QA/QC Supervisor – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) to support the quality control activities of Danieli’s steel plant project in Buttrio (UD).
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation works are carried out in compliance with technical specifications, project standards, and client requirements.

This role involves coordination between engineering, construction, and subcontractor teams to guarantee that all E&I systems — including cabling, instrumentation, grounding, and power distribution — meet the expected quality and safety standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and inspect all E&I installation activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and ITPs.

  • Verify electrical and instrumentation materials, calibration certificates, and test reports.

  • Monitor cable laying, terminations, earthing, lighting systems, and instrument installations.

  • Witness testing activities (continuity, insulation resistance, loop checks, functional tests).

  • Prepare and maintain QA/QC documentation such as ITPs, checklists, and inspection reports.

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, construction teams, and the client’s QA/QC representatives.

  • Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.

  • Support commissioning teams during the pre-commissioning and energization phases.


Requirements:

  • Degree or diploma in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering (or equivalent technical background).

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in QA/QC supervision for industrial or steel plant projects.

  • Solid understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems (LV/MV, control panels, cable sizing, field instruments).

  • Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (IEC, EN, ISO).

  • Good communication and reporting skills.

  • Italian language preferred 

  • EU citizenship preferred.
